Fix the country: Ghanaian youth tells President

The hashtag #Fixthecountry was number on Twitter’s trend list as at the time this post was made.

A section of Ghanaian youth on social media (Twitter) who are not happy with the current happenings in the country hasve vented their displeasure and disappointment in the current government for not “delivering“ on its promises.

They believe the President, H. E Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo and his government have failed the youth and the country as a whole after so many promises of a better country were made by the President.

The hashtag which was started by one of Ghana’s Twitter influencers, KalyJay has seen massive support from other “tweeps”.

They expressed their frustrations on the current rise in taxes, fuel, the recent energy crisis, corruption and how the government has abandoned several projects which were started by previous administrations such as the Saglame housing and the affordable housing projects.

With this the youth of the country are demanding probity and accountability.
