Three years ago Nana Akuffo Addo was sworn in as the President of the Republic of Ghana. His inaugural speech for that occasion was later found out to be copied from speeches of former US Presidents George Bush and Bill Clinton. The government later came our and apologized for it.
Well, it seems that Ghanaians have still not forgotten about the incident. As Ghana observes the National Constitution Day, a section of Ghanaians on Twitter has decided to change have changed it to National Plagiarism Day #nationalplagiarismday.
Some took the opportunity to express their dissatisfaction with the way the country is been run.
This goes to show that Ghanaians do not have short memories at all.
