Two trailer vehicles collided at around 5:45 am at Osino in the Eastern Region. One vehicle (trailer) which belonged to Dangote Cement was en route to Navrongo when it collided with another trailer carrying wood logs.
Both vehicles had one driver and a mate each. Unfortunately the two drivers for both vehicle and the mate of the trailer carrying wood logs died on the spot. However, the mate on the Dangote vehicle survived and sustained minor injuries to his head and other parts of his body.
According to the survivor (mate) he was asleep when the accident happened and could not give account for what happened prior the accident occurred. He came back to consciousness after the timely intervention from the residents of Osino who rushed to the accident scene.
At the time of writing this article he was been transferred from the Osino Health Centre to Koforidua.
The Police and Fire Service were at the scene to move the bodies and direct the heavy traffic at the scene.
