The New Patriotic Party (NPP) held its Annual Delegates Conference today at the Fantasy Dome, La – Accra. Many supporters and sympathizers from all the 16 regions in Ghana were present at the event. Representatives from each region were given the opportunity to address the crowd.
Other political parties were also present to grace the occasion. Members of the biggest opposition party National Democratic Congress (NDC) were also present. They were also given the opportunity to address the crowd.
The NDC members took advantage of the platform to criticize the Akuffo Addo led government. They talked about the challenges that the NPP is facing and their failure in certain aspects of governance.
They claimed that Ghanaians were disappointed in the NPP government for failing to deliver their promises. The NDC members further stated that John Mahama was the right man for Ghana and he would win the 2020 elections.
This did not go down well with the NPP supporters who were present and started chanting “away away” as they delivered their speech.
The NPP supporters booed the NDC executives until they ended their speech and walked off stage.
